Sergi Valverde

He has a degree in Computer Engineering and a PhD in Applied Physics from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He is the titular scientist of the CSIC at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (IBE, UPF-CSIC), where he directs the Laboratory of Technological Evolution, and visiting professor in the Department of Experimental and Health Sciences of Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). His research work covers the evolution of technology, the dynamics and evolution of complex networks and artificial life.
