WHAT DO YOU WANT TO STUDY? COME AND FIND OUT!
With a long history in the promotion of scientific vocations, the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation is organizing the Jam Science Barcelona to motivate young people in science and research, with six youngsters with stories of success and outstanding scientific and personal careers, from a computer engineer who draws comics, to a secondary school student who was awarded a prize by NASA. They have all taken part in programmes of the Foundation and now they are the protagonists.
How did they get into scientific research? What hobbies and interests have contributed to making them who they are? The pupils in attendance will have the chance to talk to them about it and exchange experiences and concerns. The Jam Science Barcelona is a unique opportunity to answer the question that pupils from 1st to 4th grade ESO are asked the most: “What do you want to study?”
