Cristina Sáez

A journalist specializing in scientific broadcasting and digital culture, she coordinates “Big Vang”, La Vanguardia’s online science section. She writes regularly in La Vanguardia, the Magazine, Muy Interesante, and also in the CCCBLab blog. She has received two of the most prestigious awards in scientific journalism in Spain: the 2015 Boehringer Ingelheim Prize for Medical Journalism and the 2016 Concha García Campoy Prize for Healthcare Journalism. She has been a scriptwriter for the TVE programme Redes, directed by Eduard Punset, and for 12 seasons she produced the programme Tendències on the Local Television Network.
