The Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona, MACBA, is an institution that fuses the responsibility of looking at the recent past of art with the construction of its future. Located in the heart of the Raval neighbourhood, its mission is to research and disseminate today's art to a wide range of audiences in order to bring about social transformations through the empowerment of visitors. One of its spaces, the Chapel in the Gothic building of the Convent dels Àngels, will host some of the Biennial's activities.
