Head of the Global Health Resilience team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS). She is also a Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellow at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Her research focuses on the co-development of policy-relevant methodological solutions to improve surveillance, preparedness and response to outbreaks and emergence of climate-sensitive diseases. Lowe is the director of the Lancet Countdown on health and climate change in Europe.
