Born in the village of Hinganghat, India, in 2016 he graduated in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science. A year later, he moved to Catalonia to pursue his PhD in Applied Mathematics at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). He has always been interested in mechanics and active materials during his studies, especially biological materials. He is currently working on the development of new technologies to investigate the mechanics of cellular tissues at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), to discover the fundamental principles behind the complexity of shape generation in biology.
