She is a researcher Talent UAB where she is responsible for the research line Resource management for a circular economy of the Sostenipra group at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Maria de Maeztu Unit of Excellence (MoM 2015-0552; CEX2019-000940-M). Talens holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and the University of Teesside (UK), a Master's degree in Clean Technologies from the University of Teesside and a PhD in Environmental Science and Technology from the UAB.
