Italian by origin, since 2002 he has been developing social and artistic documentary projects in various countries in Europe, North Africa, Central and North America. With a PhD in sociology, he specialises in life stories and new formats of digital storytelling, often in the framework of international social science research projects. His work has focused on issues of migration, environmental justice and education, both in small communities and in cities. Since 2005 he lives and works in Barcelona.
