He is a lecturer at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) in the field of Big Data and machine learning technologies, and a researcher in the CoSIN3 (Complex Systems @IN3) research group at the same university. His research has been developed in the fields of computational social sciences, urban science and dynamic processes in complex networks. Currently, his research interests focus on the study of active, sustainable and safe mobility in cities. His scientific contributions have received the interest of society, the media and have been published in high impact scientific journals, obtaining in total more than 3,500 citations and a h-index of 21.
