A series of scientific talks to create a link between the scientific community and society.

The discussion session La solució és la biotecnologia reflects on how biotechnology can help us to solve current and future world problems. The session will feature José Miguel Mulet, Professor of Biotechnology at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), and Rosa Porcel, PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Granada (UG), author of the blog La Ciencia de Amara and the @bioamara account.

The session El cervell des de Galè fins al segle XXI will take a look at the beginnings of neuroscience, will address questions about our current brain and its development in Homo sapiens and the advances expected in the future of this science. José Ramón Alonso, Professor of Cell Biology at the University of Salamanca (USAL) and principal researcher at the Institute of Neuroscience of Castilla y León, and Sandra Ortonobes, biomedical scientist and creator of La Hiperactina, will take part in the discussion.
