We face an unprecedented global challenge to protect all countries from the virus that has paralysed the planet. With global solidarity and cooperation, we can overcome it. Science has the unique ability to transform our society; we have seen, now more than ever, how international scientific collaborations have challenged the future of our species during this pandemic.
History, once again, teaches us that we are most effective and relevant if we empower people to support the scientific and social transformation to which we all aspire together.
