Who should make the collective decisions that affect us all? In contrast to the dominant model of leaving these decisions in the hands of politicians, there have been criticisms that call for these decisions to be made by citizens, experts or even artificially intelligent machines.
What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of each model and under what circumstances do we prefer that one or the other decide?
