Feminist activist and Serra Húnter professor at the University of Barcelona (UB). Her research focuses on the analysis of social inequalities from an intersectional, emotional and geographical perspective. She studies how different issues such as gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, social class and age are articulated in relation to space. Her empirical research has focused on feminist perspectives on law in the city, gender violence, LGTBIphobia, fear in public spaces and social movements.

Her background is interdisciplinary in Political Science, Gender Studies and Human Geography and she has been a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral researcher at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and the State University of Ponta Gorda (UEPG). She has conducted research stays at the City University of New York (CUNY), UEPG and University College Dublin. She is also a consultant and trainer on gender and LGTBI issues for several public administrations and associations. Author of several scientific publications and of the book Intersectionality, Inequalities, Places and Emotions (Tigre de Papel, 2021).
