Geologist, postgraduate in Hydrogeology and PhD in Earth Engineering with a specialisation in Hydrogeology from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). His main lines of research are in the field of urban hydrogeology, geoenergies and large-scale hydrogeological modelling. Since completing his PhD, he has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Liège in Belgium, at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Germany and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Environmental Diagnosis and Water Studies (IDAEA-CSIC), an environmental research institute on air, water and soil pollution of the Spanish National Research Council.
