Xarxa d'Horts Urbans de Barcelona

A participation programme of Barcelona City Council’s Department of the Environment addressed to people over the age of 65 in the city, with the objective of incorporating them in activities to improve the environment through cultivating vegetables according to the principles of ecological agriculture. Urban allotments contribute social, environmental and educational values to the city and its inhabitants.
