SERENDIPITY
A JOURNEY THROUGH NEURO-INSPIRATION AND CREATIVITY
Serendipity is a subtle mixture of chance and the determination that something will happen. In science, two ideas encounter one another by chance and their fusion makes something exist that did not previously.
Neurobiology is a source of inspiration for art and technology. On this journey through neurology and creativity, we shall talk and experiment with neuro-inspired systems, and we shall discuss the mysterious biological reason for art. We shall present synaesthetic systems, like Musical Vision, a technology that generates music from images, or Colored Music, which colours sounds. We shall delve in to the intricate secrets of the brain through images and small scientific pills in a magical show of light and sound.
