Daniel Tammet
An essayist, novelist, poet and translator. The author of Born on a Blue Day (2006), Thinking in Numbers (2012), Mishenka (2016), Embracing the Wide Sky (2009), Every Word is A Bird We Teach to Sing (2017) and Portraits (2018). His work has been praised by, among others, the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature J.M. Coetzee, the poet Billy Collins and authors as varied as Oliver Sacks, Amy Tan, Lydia Davis and Rosa Montero. Tammet lives in Paris and is a member of the Royal Society of Arts (UK).
