Josep Perelló

A doctor of physics, an associate professor in the Department of Condensed Matter Physics of the University of Barcelona (UB) and a researcher of this University’s Institute of Complex Systems (UBICS). In 2013, he created OpenSystems-UB to promote scientific research projects through citizen participation and artistic practices. He is a coordinator and founding member of the Citizen Science Office in Barcelona. He has been head of and a curator of the Sciences Department at Arts Santa Mònica in Barcelona for the UB, of several exhibitions, and the artistic, scientific and citizens’ participation project Estació Ciutat at the CCCB.
