Josep Lluís Arcos

He is a scientific researcher in the Department of Learning Systems of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA-CSIC). He has a PhD in artificial intelligence from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a master’s in musical creation and sound technology from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). He has participated in more than 50 research and transfer projects, is the co-author of more than 150 scientific articles and he has been awarded several international prizes. His research focuses on machine learning, and on its applications in medicine and music.
