ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MUSIC: HOW TECHNOLOGY AND ART CAN COLLABORATE

Since the beginnings of artificial intelligence, this discipline has been very interested in music. And at the same time, artistic creation has always explored how the use of technology would allow it to express itself with new languages. In this talk, we shall show examples of the results of the collaboration between artificial intelligence and music, we shall explain how artificial intelligence has evolved throughout its 60 years’ existence, and we shall analyse the opportunities and the challenges for the future that arise from the links between both disciplines at the present moment.
