Nowadays, we know about 4,000 planets orbiting stars, and nature has revealed to us a wealth of planetary systems that we would never have imagined. Are there any other living beings in the universe? How long will we take to find planets like ours? How will we know if they are inhabited? These questions leave no one indifferent.
