Elena Roura
The scientific director of the Alícia Foundation. She has a PhD from the University of Barcelona (Pharmacy Faculty, Nutrition and Food Sciences Department), a diploma in human nutrition and dietetics, a degree in food science and technology, and a postgraduate degree in clinical nutrition from the University of Lleida. She has done research in nutrition and food sciences centred on the field of the natural antioxidants in food. She has also worked as a cookery dietician in different hospitals in Catalonia and as an associate professor of nutrition and dietetics in nursing courses on the Bellvitge Campus (UB).
