3D PRINTING AND REGENERATIVE MEDICINE
The combination of new biomaterials and cell engineering produces advances that in future will make it possible to repair and replace human tissues that have been damaged through injury or illness or due to ageing.
Many laboratories are already working with 3D printers to generate artificial tissues. Experts from the IBEC will show us how to replicate with a 3D pencil one of the techniques used in the regeneration of heart tissues. What advantages and drawbacks does this technology have? How can the tissues made with a 3D bio-printer be seen under the microscope? It is a dynamic and fun workshop. Do you want to join in?
