Talk by Núria Salán, Catalan Society of Technology (SCT) and Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
Can you name people who have invented useful or important things? How many are men and how many are women? Do you have any idea who invented safety flares, the centralized heating system or wifi? Behind these inventions there are great women, but their names do not often appear in textbooks. In this talk you will find out why and you will meet many of them!
