From 1999 to 2014 he directed the program El medio ambiente. Author of more than thirty books, including La ciencia en la literatura (Ediciones UB), El individuo transparente (Campesino) and El imperio de los datos (Bromera). Winner of several awards such as Joan Fuster, Josep Vallverdú twice, Joaquim Xirau, European Prize for Scientific Dissemination-Estudi General, also twice, Marià Vayreda, Crítica Serra de Oro award and National University Publishing Award for the best popular science book.
