Ramon Pujades
Historian, researcher at the MUHBA
PhD in Geography and History at the University of Valencia (UV) and member of the Optional Corps of Archivists, Librarians and Archaeologists of the State. Since 2014 he has been a research technician at the Museum of History of Barcelona (MUHBA), where he has supervised the Historical Charter of Barcelona, curated the exhibition Barcelona Capital Mediterrània, and the study and virtual recreation of the heritage complex of the Palau Mayor in Barcelona, among others. Previously, he was an optional archivist at the Archive of the Crown of Aragon and senior research technician and associate lecturer at the UV, and completed research and further training stays at the British Library and the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa.
He has also been and continues to be head scientist of several research projects promoted by the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Institut d'Estudis Catalans (IEC). This research activity has given rise to several monographs and international publications, particularly in the fields of medieval history, the history of cartography and town planning, and the history of culture and art.
