Pere Estupinyà
Writer and science popularizer
Host and director of the program El cazador de cerebros on TVE, he conducts a science section in the program A vivir on Cadena Ser and writes as a freelance for different media. He has published five popular science books, including El ladrón de Cerebros, S=EX2: la ciencia del sexo and A Vivir la Ciencia, all of them under the imprint Debate de Penguin Random House.
He has been a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Washington DC. He has also lectured extensively and is a science communication consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He has written for media such as El País, SINC agency, Mètode, National Geographic and Scientific American among others. His career began in 2001 as a scriptwriter for Eduard Punset's television program Redes.
