A graduate in Law, she is the director of the Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation and of the Chair of Bioethics at the University of Vic (UVic). She is currently vice-president of the Bioethics Committee of Catalonia and a member of numerous advisory boards and committees in the fields of ethics, health and healthcare. She is a frequent speaker at various congresses and conferences on bioethics and health law, and has written numerous articles and chapters of monographs about her field.
