PhD in Political Science and Administration by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and Professor of Political Science at the UAB. Her research areas deal with different aspects related to the decision-making processes and accountability of the European Union, as well as the Europeanization of policies, with special emphasis on those oriented to sustainability. Her current research deals with issues of legislative transparency in the EU and the implementation of the European Green Pact.

She has published numerous articles on the Europeanization of environmental policy, the legislative and oversight activity of the European Parliament, and decision-making processes in the EU. She is the author of the book Democracia y participación ciudadana (1998) and co-editor of the books Política ambiental en España (1999) and Local y sostenible (2000).
