Specialized in alternative agro-food systems, she is interested in the synergies between agroecology and other perspectives of critical economics, in particular with feminist economics, for the promotion of broad socio-economic alternatives. She holds a PhD in Sociology, she is currently a researcher at the Chair of Agroecology and Food Systems at the University of Vic (UVic-UCC), member of the UNESCO Chair Women, Development and Cultures and of the research group Inclusive Societies, Policies and Communities at the same university. She is a member of the coordinating and teaching team of the Postgraduate in Agroecological Local Dynamization of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
