PhD in Internal Medicine
Senior Specialist at the International Health Service of the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, Associate Research Professor at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) and Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona (UB).
She is currently director of the Chagas Initiative. Since 2010 she has been the technical coordinator of the Platform for Comprehensive Care for Patients with Chagas disease in Bolivia/Paraguay. Furthermore, she is cientific coordinator of the inspiran project (H2020) and coordinator for ISGlobal of the Barcelona Caixaresearch Living Lab, bringing science closer to society, integrating Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and open science in its scientific approach.
