PhD in Communication by the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) with a thesis on the communicative practices of BookTubers in Spanish language. He has his own YouTube channel called BookTube Observatory.

His areas of academic interest include media literacy, reading and writing practices in social networks, digital ethnography, cultural studies and the history of reading and publishing. He is also a consultant for the PICCLE project of the Portuguese National Reading Plan and a research assistant in the D-Stores project on digital storytelling.
