Professor of Political Science
Professor of Political Science at New York University - Abu Dhabi and PhD in Political Science by Washington University in Saint Louis. Her research areas deal with different aspects of political violence. This includes interest in the causes and consequences of wars, terrorist groups, state repression and human rights violations, as well as big data methodologies, surveys and experiments. Recently, she has focused on the long-term impact of armed conflicts on social and political behavior and on the study of the political representation of victims of violence in post-conflict scenarios. Her studies have been carried out in different parts of the world, including Colombia, Vietnam, Japan, Spain and the United States.
Currently, part of his research is focused on the co-direction of the CoronaNet Research Project, a project whose main objective is to compile the most extensive and detailed database on the public policies that governments have taken to combat the coronavirus crisis.
