Agronomist and Agroforestry Engineer
Agricultural Engineer and PhD in Agroforestry Engineering. He is currently a full university professor in the Department of Rural and Agro-Food Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV).
Since 2010 he has been researching traditional irrigation systems in the huerta of Valencia from the perspective of the commons and the effects of modernization and water resources. He has more than twenty years of experience leading teams and projects and training people, both nationally and internationally.
He is currently developing practical research in systemic innovation, helping organizations and public institutions to face socio-ecological transitions. For this purpose, he is a facilitator and a coach focused on the innovation process in complex and changing environments. He has developed his own methodologies to carry out systemic innovation processes, which have been tested in different European countries and contexts. He is also a certified consultant and trainer for some of the best known methodologies for creativity, innovation and change management in teams and organizations. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, Creative Problem Solving or Points of You® are some of these methodologies, which are applied in different contexts and formats. He has more than 70 scientific publications and has participated in more than 20 national and international research projects.
