PhD in Medicine, specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Head of the Gynecology Department and Director of the Endometriosis Unit at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. He has introduced several techniques in gynecological surgery and leads the team that performed the first uterine transplant in Spain.

Full Professor at the University of Barcelona (UB) and author of many scientific publications in high impact journals, he develops a first level academic and research work.
