PhD in Sociology, he has worked as a researcher and lecturer at different universities in Spain, the United Kingdom, and Argentina. His main research interests are those related to identity, science and technology studies, and videogame culture. He is author of Identidad gamer (AnaitGames, 2018), and co-author of Video Games as Culture (Routledge, 2018) and Un mes en Tinder siendo una mujer gamer (Applehead Team, 2021). He is also European Book Reviews Editor of Cultural Sociology journal.
