Professor and Vice-Rector of Campus, Sustainability and Territory at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), she has worked on issues of urban mobility and metropolitan spaces, especially in Barcelona and its surroundings. She has been director of the Institute of Regional and Metropolitan Studies of Barcelona, member of the Congress of Deputies, member of the Infrastructure Commission and of the Equality Commission. She works in various international academic institutions. She complements her teaching work with transfer activities to local and supra-local administrations.
