Advisor to the Earth Sciences Department of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS). She is a philosopher and sociologist, and has specialized in social and transdisciplinary aspects of climate services. She is a member of the Mission Board for Climate Change and Social Transformation of the European Commission, and a member of the Advisory Council for Sustainable Development of Catalonia (CADS). She was the lead author of the Fifth Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on Adaptation, Impacts and Vulnerabilities.
