Researcher with more than 10 years experience on fundamental experimental physics. He works mostly with optics and cryogenics (-270°C). He obtained his PhD at Néel Institute (France), then joined Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) in Barcelona.

He is fascinated by the nano-world, and what laws of physics are ruling it. He is now scientist in residence at Gluon for the art and science project Studiotopia, working together with sound artist Voldemars Johanson. He believes both artists and scientists have this ability to bridge the gap between the disciplines, and thus have the responsibility to collectively tackle the difficult issues happening in our society. As a researcher in fundamental physics, he knows that new ideas may come from a non-rational or analytic mindset.
