Alberto Corsín Jiménez
Anthropologist specializing in science, activism and social movements
PhD in Social Anthropology by Oxford University and Master in Social Anthropology by the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is also a research scientist at CSIC. His areas of research are the anthropology of science and technology, and urban anthropology, with special interest in experimental activist designs, methods and practices and social movements.
Author of the books, The Urbanization of Liberation (in press with Adolfo Estalella), Prototyping Cultures: Art, Science and Politics in Beta (2018), Culture and Well-being (2008) and The Anthropology of Organisations (2007). He is a founder and member of the open science cooperative, Libraria.
