Guidelines of the City and Science Biennial 2021 booking system

Due to the special circumstances arising from the COVID-19 health emergency, during this edition it will be essential to book online in order to be able to participate in person in the activities of the City and Science Biennial.

How to book

Check the City and Science Biennial programme and select the activities you are interested in.

Children over 2 years old need to book in order to have their own seat.

When you request tickets for an event, it will be indicated if there are tickets available or if they are sold out. If tickets are still available, you will be able to access a form in which you will be asked for, among other details, your email address, which is where you will receive the receipt of all the tickets you have booked. If you do not receive this email, please check that it has not been sent to the spam folder of your account.

Having the email address also allows the organisers to keep in touch with the audience who have attended each of the activities in order to guarantee traceability if the protocol for COVID-19 is activated.

The confirmation you will receive by email is your ticket and that of the people who will accompany you to the activity. Keep this email and carry it in digital format on your mobile phone.

You can make a reservation in your name for a maximum of two people per activity of the Biennial, and a maximum of three people per activity of the Science Festival.

If you are unable to attend the activity, please cancel your ticket, so that other people can enjoy it. It is very easy, you can do it from the link included in the confirmation email. You can cancel one or all of your tickets.

If you have lost your ticket, you can recover it by accessing the activity file on the website and clicking on the option "Recover tickets".

Participation in most of the activities included in +Biennial requires prior booking through the website of the organising entity, where you can also consult the special security and prevention measures of COVID-19.

If you do not have internet access, you can book by telephone on 933 161 038 (Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 15:00). However, remember that in order to avoid overcrowding this service, we ask that only those citizens who cannot access the internet use it, and that the website is the main and most effective channel for formalising bookings.

If you have any other type of incident and need to report it, please email reservesicub@bcn.cat.

The organisation reserves the right to modify the capacity of the activity for health reasons or due to unforeseen circumstances.

In case of unfavourable weather, alternative spaces have been provided nearby to carry out the activity, which will be indicated in the initial space and will be communicated through the website and social networks of the event.
