Toni Massanés

He is director general of the Alícia Foundation and a gastronomist. He gained cookery diplomas in Barcelona and Toulouse. He has learned different culinary cultures of the world in situ, he has directed the inventory of the Corpus of Traditional Catalan Cuisine and is the author of several books about cookery and food culture. He writes for national and international restaurant guides. He works as a gastronomic and food critic in numerous publications and media outlets. He has received the Ignasi Domènech Prize, the medal for gastronomic merit at the Nadal Awards and the Juan Mari Arzak Prize for gastronomy and media.
