Rachel Armstrong

She is the professor of Experimental Architecture at the University of Newcastle, from where she has defined an alternative approach to sustainability, related to the properties of the natural world and the production of what she calls built environments of living architecture in the 21st century. In 2012 Director Magazine named her as one of the ten people who could transform el future of the United Kingdom, and she was nominated as one of the nine most inspiring women by Chick Chip Magazine.
