Pilarín Bayés

She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona, where she was discovered by the pedagogue Marta Mata, who introduced her to the professional world. In 1964 the La Galera publishing house published her first children’s story, and she began contributing to the magazine Cavall Fort. Since then she has never stopped drawing. She has published more than 900 books. She is a point of reference for readers of all ages and has received numerous awards and acknowledgments throughout her artistic career.
