Pau Alsina

He has a PhD in philosophy from the University of Barcelona and is associate professor of the Arts and Humanities studies of the Open University of Catalonia. He is the director of the interdisciplinary research group DARTS (design, art, technology and society) and editor of Artnodes, a journal of art, science and technology. He is the author of the books Arte, ciencia y tecnología (2007) and Plagas, monstruos y quimeras. He has also written chapters and articles on the links between art and science, and about contemporary philosophical and scientific thinking. He has curated exhibitions, organized symposia and conferences, advised institutions and promoted international networks, such as the Mediterranean YASMIN network of art, science and technology, and the LABS de Leonardo project.
