Since ancient times devices have been developed to guide us while sailing at sea and to maintain a specific direction without going off course. In this context different types of compasses appeared thanks to which the exploration of the Earth became a lot easier. This guiding instrument that points to the magnetic north is now important in space exploration too, especially during take-off.

In this workshop you will learn to program your own compass with micro:bit, and you will enable our invited astronaut to know the course he has to take from CosmoCaixa to your favourite places in Barcelona.
