Miquel Durán

Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Girona, where he gives classes in the Faculty of Science. He is a researcher in theoretical and computational chemistry and a member of the Chair of Scientific Culture and Digital Communication. In the context of the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis, he has published more than 200 research articles on quantum chemistry. His interest also focuses on the use of Internet in scientific communication and teaching. He is an amateur magician, organizer of the TEDxUdG, a promoter of open knowledge, and a MOOCs enthusiast.
