D-NOSES

A project that implements a strategy ‘from top to bottom’ to tackle pollution due to smells. Combining citizen science and participative strategies, it helps to co-create local solutions together with the citizens, industries, the public sector and people who are experts in smells. Through observations of smell collected collaboratively with the app OdourCollect, geolocated data about smell pollution is gathered in real time. D-NOSES’ strategy increases the quality of life of the local people with practical and creative solutions.
