HOW ARE CHEMICAL ELEMENTS CREATED? WHICH ONES MAKE UP OUR BODY?

2019 is the 150th anniversary of the periodic table of chemical elements. The series “Views of science: the thousand faces of the periodic table”, held in four libraries in the city, looks at the origins of what has become a cultural icon, explain its secrets and the most unusual imitations, and also explores the connections established with other areas of knowledge, such as literature.

As part of this series, the Vila de Gràcia Library offers us the talk “How are chemical elements created? Which ones make up our body?” given by Xavier Giménez.
