BCN SCIENCE SLAM

A science slam is a competition in which young scientists present their scientific paper for a few minutes in an understandable and entertaining way. With the scientific content, but also with the humorous way in which they present it, they will have to win over the audience, who act as the jury and decide the winner.

At the BCN Science Slam, eight young researchers in different scientific disciplines will present their papers before an audience of 150 and a moderator. To prepare them for the BCN Science Slam, the Centre for Genomic Regulation has previously organized a two-day seminar, on 6 and 7 February. The winner of this slam will be invited by the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) to take part in the one to be held during its annual get-together, on 24 and 25 February in Vienna.
